SLAC Guest Gateway: Guest Registration User Guide

Overview

This article describes the steps the invited Guest must take to complete the registration process after receiving an invitation from their Host. 

Registering after receiving an invite 

  1. Open the invitation email from no-reply@slac.stanford.edu
  2. Click on the "REGISTER HERE" button in the email

  1. Complete the registration process
    • The registration information varies depending on why your are registering and how you answer the questions on the registration flow. 
    • The registration portal is mobile friendly.

NOTE: Please complete your registration in one session. It is not possible to save a partially completed registration.

4. When the registration is submitted, an email notification is automatically sent to the you and your Host. 

5. When your registration is approved, you will receive and email with a QR-code

Providing additional information after registration

In some cases, after the initial registration submission, the SLAC Security team will request you to provide additional documentation or clarification on the information submitted. In those cases, you will receive an email from noreply@threatswitch.com.

Please take the following steps:

  1. Open the email and click on the “View Form” button

 

 

  1. Click on "Continue"

 

 

  1. Provide the requested information and click on the "Next" button

 

 

  1. You information has been submitted and the Security team will review it

 

 

Note: When the registration is approved (including the auto-approved case), the Guest will receive an email with instructions for their visit to SLAC.
