Cybersecurity Training
Required Annual Training
All SLAC Personnel and lab users are required to complete annual cybersecurity training.
Cybersecurity training is important to staying abreast of the current best practices for protecting SLAC's personal information and information resources. At SLAC, there are five different pieces of training for Cybersecurity, each abbreviated with “CS.”
Use the links below to access the STA Course Catalog.
CS100 is a cybersecurity training course for all lab users and non-SLAC or Stanford employees accessing SLAC computer resources. This course takes about 30 minutes to complete.
CS200 is Cyber Security Training for Employees. This course takes about one hour to complete. SLAC employees must complete this training annually to keep their SLAC accounts active.
Certain roles require additional annual cybersecurity training to retain their network access.
