Adobe’s suite for creating, editing, and managing PDF documents and digital media.
Get Started
- Request access:

- Submit a ServiceNow request: SLAC Standard Software Request.
- Include: “Adobe Acrobat Creative Cloud,” your name, PC number, and PA (Project Activity) account number.
- Install:

- After approval and processing, you will receive an email with installation instructions and/or a download link. Follow those instructions.
- Do not install using personal Adobe downloads or accounts unless explicitly instructed.
- Sign in and activate:

- Open Adobe Creative Cloud
- Click Sign In and enter your full @slac.stanford.edu email address.
- If prompted, choose Stanford School Account, then complete by entering the password you set for your Adobe ID. After sign-in, the license activates automatically.

Requirements
- Account and approval:
- Full-service SLAC/Stanford identity and your full @slac.stanford.edu email address.
- Approved ServiceNow request with PC number and PA account number.
- Personal Adobe IDs are not permitted for SLAC business use.
- System:
- Current versions of Windows or macOS; internet access required for sign-in and activation.

- Licensing:
- Named-user licensing; sign-in required to activate.
- Typically allows installation on more than one device for the same user, with a limit on concurrent active sessions.
Data Security
- Can be used for SLAC Moderate data.
- Adobe Sign is not a long-term document storage solution.
- Signed documents must be downloaded and stored in an authorized storage location such as Google Drive, Microsoft One Drive, or a shared network drive, according to the data storage and retention policies.
- Follow SLAC data classification and storage guidelines for sensitive information.
- Do not store or share sensitive documents (including PHI or other restricted data) in external clouds unless explicitly approved by SLAC.
- Some Document Cloud features may be disabled or restricted to meet SLAC policy.
- Use Acrobat’s protection and redaction tools appropriately; verify document security settings before sharing.
Rates
- $160 per license
- Part of the Sitewide recharge and available at no cost to SLAC employees.
- Note: Not available to USERS & DOE SSO (non-SLAC employees)
