Software Approved For Self-Purchase
The software and cloud-based subscriptions listed below may be purchased directly by non-IT staff without submitting an IT request.
Please use the following approved process to receive quotes for either purchasing or renewing software:
- If the software and version are listed below, email the suggested vendor contact directly (or an appropriate alternative), and request a quote for the software.
- If the software and version are not in the list below, submit a request here
- If the quote is below $10,000, it can be purchased using a departmental P-card. If the quote is above $10,000, a purchase requisition must be submitted.
- For any questions regarding the purchasing process, please contact your department admin or gatekeeper.
- Note: If a supplier is missing from Oracle's supplier list, email suppliers@slac.stanford.edu for information.
- Once purchased, and you receive the license key or email regarding access to the software, forward the email to software@slac.stanford.edu.
- If installation or other IT support is required, please submit a ticket to the SLAC IT Service Desk.
