There is a stated need for SLAC to establish a document management system for official documents and records. With multiple document repositories and multiple or no stated business owners, conflicting versions, multiple versions, or no updated versions of documents and records cause confusion and are a pain point for staff. SLAC’s document and record management is in need of a revamp to include a rigorous review process, a centralized repository, and responsible business owners.
