This offering simplifies cloud adoption while leveraging academic pricing to optimize costs and efficiency.
As the demand for cloud-based scientific workloads grows, SLAC IT’s service ensures seamless access to essential infrastructure. Key features include secure cloud storage, scalable computing power, account-specific billing, integrated cybersecurity protections, and pre-configured access management aligned with DOE Authority to Operate (ATO) requirements.
On-demand Cloud services include compute, storage, high-performance processing, and content delivery. Through our strategic partnership with Stanford University, SLAC leverages institutional pricing and proven implementation practices from peer laboratories and research institutions.
Our managed service handles all aspects of cloud operations, including:

On-Demand Cloud Services
SLAC's Cloud services offer a wide range of resources as part of their infrastructure platform accounts. By using the SLAC-provided ordering process to create an account, you will be included in SLAC's enterprise agreements, which provides the following benefits:
