Join SLAC IT for an overview and live demo of the SLAC AI Accelerator, a SLAC‑hosted generative AI platform designed to provide secure access to approved AI models within a SLAC‑controlled environment. In this session, we’ll explain how the AI Accelerator fits into SLAC’s broader AI ecosystem, review appropriate use and data classification considerations, and demonstrate the user interface.
Attendees will see how the platform can be used for common AI tasks such as drafting, summarization, analysis, and development workflows, while adhering to SLAC cybersecurity and compliance requirements. We’ll also walk through how to request access, what’s included in the current beta release, and what enhancements are planned next.
