New SLAC Login Experience

SLAC is implementing a new and improved login experience to gain access to SLAC's internal networks and applications.  SLAC IT will be rolling out the new login screens in a phased approach starting with Drupal web sites.

SLAC staff with a SLAC account will be able to login using either their Stanford Sunet ID or their SLAC AD (Windows) account to gain access.  The advantage to choosing the Stanford login option will be a seemless login experience that bypasses having to enter your credentials, as long as you have SLAC Cardinal Key installed and configured.  If you chose to login via you SLAC account, the expience will not change.  You'll be asked to supply your SLAC ID and password.

In the near future we will able to offer approved visitors from other institutions the ability to log into specific SLAC networks and applications using their home login credentials, often referred to as Federated Identity and Login.

Note: Although there is a Stanford login option, Stanford employees who do not have a SLAC account will not be able to login into SLAC with only their Stanford credentials.
