Reset or Change Password
SLAC/SSO/Active Directory (Windows)
Use these options to manage your SLAC Windows account:
- Reset or reactivate your account
- Use the SLAC/SSO/Active Directory Account Reactivation page if you need to regain access to your account.
- Change your password
- If you are connected to the SLAC network (on-site or through VPN), use the SLAC/SSO/Active Directory Password Change page.
Heimdal/UNIX
Web-based password changes are no longer available for Heimdal/UNIX accounts.
For instructions on changing your password, see the Heimdal/UNIX Password Change page.
Oracle (SLAC_TCP)
To change your Oracle (SLAC_TCP) password, use the Oracle Password Change page.
Note: You must know your current Oracle password to use this tool.

To change your External Crowd (Confluence, Jira) password:
Note: This page is only for "External" crowd users; if you access Confluence and Jira using your SLAC UNIX or Windows account, you need to use the appropriate methods (above) to change those passwords.

General Password Requirements:
- Minimum of 12 characters
- Cannot be dictionary words, your name, your account name, or common strings
